Contribute to the Bursary fund
You can help in three ways:
- You can become a subscribing member of the Association, either as a Choir member or as a Friend. For more information on becoming a Friend, click here.
- You can become a Benefactor by making a donation to the Association, as described below.
Become a Benefactor
You can become a Benefactor by making a financial donation to the Association either to be used for a specific purpose or one which is left to discretion of the Executive Committee.
If you are a UK tax-payer you can do this as a lump sum, or a regular payment, through Gift Aid. Gift Aid is a particularly good way of giving as the Association is then able to claim back the basic rate of tax on each donation, at no extra cost to the donor. In addition, higher rate tax-payers are able to reclaim the difference between the basic and higher rate of tax. For more information on Gift Aid, click here.
Acknowledging your support
Every donation will be acknowledged individually and Benefactors will also be recorded in the Choir Association magazine, a copy of which you will receive. If your contribution exceeds the Life Membership amount appropriate to your age, you will automatically become a life member of the Association unless requested otherwise.
